Summer 2024, my friend reached out to me saying she went to the Nester’s jumps in Whistler and she was so intimidated by the amount of guys that she didn’t end up hitting the jumps. At the time, I'd also never been there probably because I had the same internal feeling as my friend: I was intimidated. The following week, we decided to go together. We created posts on our personal IG to see if other girl friends would join us. We ended up being a higher number of women than men that night! We all cheered for each other and some of us even hit the big jump! The guys were impressed ;) It was such a good feeling! Since the reward and feedback from the girls was so good, I decided to reach out to local companies for sponsorship to give some prizes to the girls! The following week, even more women joined us. We started the IG page in summer 2025 and the community is growing! We have so many more plans for next season and are super excited to share them with you all. Follow us on IG @whistlersendhers x
